My Bio
I see myself as a mixed-media artist. I am an award winning cosplayer and ran a mildly successful commission business for a few years. My specialty was accessories. I love to paint, both on canvas and on clothing. I adore photography, but am unskilled with photoshop. I also love to dye fabric, particularly to batik patterns and images.
I have been on a long-term hiatus to finish my Master degrees and my Ph.D. Now that its all completed, I hope to return to my art. I know my skills have slipped over the years of absence and only practice will bring them back.

Sadly, it's already mid January and I have not created anything new. I started to color some old comics I had drawn and I set up my easel with a blank canvas. But nothing...
I think I'm still in that student mode of "Your whole to-do list must be finished before you can do anything fun." And of course, the great secret is that your To-Do List is never really done.
Maybe this week I can get started on something new.
BTW - I am absolutely in love with Monster High dolls now and am giving strong consideration to playing around with customizing them. Who knows, maybe that's the new thing that you'll see here.
